Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 6, 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to rpstrades.com and the services offered by RPS Trades, a d/b/a of Reed Property Solutions LLC. By using the site or submitting a request or application, you agree to these terms.
What RPS Trades does
RPS Trades connects property owners with independent contractors and service providers. RPS Trades does not perform construction or repair work and is not a general contractor. When you hire a provider, you contract directly with that provider, and RPS Trades is not a party to that contract.
Independent providers
Providers in the network are independent businesses, not employees or agents of RPS Trades. Each provider is responsible for its own work, pricing, licensing, permits, insurance, warranties and contract terms. RPS Trades does not guarantee any provider’s workmanship, results, schedule or pricing.
Insurance review
“Insurance reviewed” means available evidence of a provider’s insurance was reviewed at the time of review. It is not a guarantee of coverage, workmanship, licensing, safety or future policy status. Policies can change or lapse after review.
No insurance claim, legal or financial advice
RPS Trades does not adjust, negotiate, handle or advise on insurance claims, and is not a public adjuster, law firm, appraisal firm or insurance claim consultant. Information on this site is general information, not legal, insurance or financial advice. If we refer you to an independent professional, you choose whether to work with them, and they work for you.
Quote comparisons and savings
RPS Trades may review quotes you share and show what a project may look like through the RPS method. RPS Trades does not guarantee savings. Any comparison is an estimate based on the information available at the time.
Homeowner responsibility
If you hire a provider, you are responsible for reviewing and signing your contract with that provider, choosing the provider, confirming that permits and inspections required for your project are handled, reviewing your insurance policy and paying your deductible, and deciding how and when to pay for the work. RPS Trades can help explain the steps, but these decisions are yours.
Fees
There is no cost to property owners to submit a request. Providers pay RPS Trades a fee when they are hired through the network, under the fee schedule in their written provider agreement. If RPS Trades offers optional project coordination support or other services to property owners, any fee will be disclosed before you agree to it.
Payments, escrow and materials
RPS Trades does not hold, handle or control project funds. Any escrow, supply house account or other payment arrangement is governed by the written terms of the escrow provider, supplier or provider involved.
Financing
RPS Trades is not a lender. If we point you toward independent lenders, approval, rates and terms are set by the lender.
Affiliated company
JJ Reed & Associates and RPS Trades are affiliated through common ownership. Using one is never required to use the other, and choosing a different insurance agency does not affect a provider application.
AI Use Disclosure
RPS Trades may use artificial intelligence tools to help organize project information, summarize documents, compare quote details, draft communications, improve website content, and support internal administrative workflows.
AI tools do not make final decisions about provider approval, insurance review, project pricing, claim disputes, legal rights, or whether a homeowner should hire a provider. Information generated with AI may be reviewed, corrected, or supplemented by RPS Trades before it is used.
Homeowners and providers should not rely on AI-generated information as legal, insurance, construction, engineering, claim, or financial advice.
Provider applications
If you apply to join the network, you agree that the information and documents you submit are accurate and complete, and that you will tell us if your insurance, licensing or business information changes. RPS Trades may approve, decline or remove any provider at its discretion. Providers who join the network sign a separate written provider agreement, which controls if it conflicts with these terms.
Using this site
You agree not to misuse the site, submit false information, or interfere with its operation. Site content is provided for general information and may change without notice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, RPS Trades is not liable for the acts, omissions, work or products of any provider, or for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the site or services. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under Texas law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last updated.
